This photograph displays great repetition of lines and triangular and rectangular shapes. The point of view is important because it shows how big and tall the power line is; its glooming over and looking down at you, giving off dark and powerful vibes with the black and white. The rule of thirds is well executed since the object is in the center of the frame, and there is a display of positive and negative space- the sky and the poles and wires.

There’s something about the photo, whether it is the black and white editing, the point of view, or just that it was foggy the day I took it, but this particular photo has a gloomy and uninviting-but-at-the-same-time-inviting feel to it. Like the unaccompanied power line has a darkness and mysteriousness to it that makes you intrigued but cautious to investigate at the same time.
